April 20, 2010 at 15:25 On April 8th, we experienced severe weather conditions in Calgary that affected both of our data centers and caused major damage to our systems. While this happened almost two weeks ago, we are still continuing to work 24/7 here to repair the damage.
For our clients, we know you have been experiencing intermittent outages and download issues which we have been able to rectify fairly quickly, but we realize that it is a major inconvenience. Our call center has been working full force to answer your calls and contacts in a timely manner, but due to the load, the wait time may be a little longer than we would like. We really appreciate your patience and understanding during this time and are doing everything in our power to stabilize the situation as quickly as we can.
For our contributors, we realize there are many issues affecting files you have already uploaded, or have been approved but are not showing up in the search and we also know how inconvenient this is for you. Please DO NOT start deactivating these files and re-uploading them as it will only add those files to the end of the queue. It does not help either of us if you do this. We ask that you please be understanding and patient with us during this time and we'll provide updates as we can.
