iStockphoto 503 Errors

We're aware of the current site slowness and intermittent 503 errors. They are working on getting things back in order ASAP. Sorry for the trouble.

Any ideas of when it'll be back up? I'm still getting 503's. Looks like it's been going on for 18 hours or more.

I've ordered an image through istock but I kept getting "503" errors. I never received the download window for that image. Hopefully these errors past before my 24 hour window or I'll have to order the image AGAIN. Which doesn't make any sense that I only have a 24 hour window to redownload an image I haven't received.

Does anyone know when the site will be back up and running. Was in the process of purchasing my light-box when the 503 errors started. Have a client waiting on the delivery.
Very frustrating

Don't take any guff from these swine. I was joking that every ad agency in the US has grinded to a halt, and its probably true. I've still got a pencil, so it's all cool. I do appreciate your site, good luck!

I need a photo urgently! Any ideas on when it'll be back up and running? And estimate time please...

Please let us know when it will be up and running as I have important files to work on that need creative work.

This is pathetic, iStock. And your customer service people are cranky and rude.

WOW are you serious this is just so frustrating we have over 20 images needing to download for our CEO and now 1/2 the day is gone!

Hey guys,

I just cashed in credits and couldn't downlad the file... is the 24 hour policy still effective if it doesn't get up and running by then??? Thanks!

We need to access the site today to buy photos for a project. I have designers waiting for the content I've selected in my lightbox. Can you please give us an estimate for the fix? If not, I have to start from scratch with another site...I understand there are errors, but this is very poor form to have the site down this long with out good communications...

Apr 15, 2010 at 11:52 | Unregistered CommenterJason

I think we are all in need of photos, but you guys always provide the best photos on the internet and have had very little downtime. I have clients waiting, but I'm not going to lose any sleep over it.

Just make sure the site becomes operational again sometime soon so the people over exaggerating their importance can become calm again.
